We recognize the ongoing nature of COVID-19 and are dedicated to making the market a safe shopping environment for all.

The market is closely following the Mayor’s guidance for local businesses and is taking necessary precautions to protect the safety of customers, vendors, and staff:

  • Masks must be worn at all times

  • All customers must have their temperature checked before entry

  • NEW: To avoid temptation to congregate, please leave pets at home. This is a DC farmers market rule during COVID-19. Hook Hall's outdoor area remains pet-friendly!

  • One-way traffic flow throughout the market

  • Strict capacity limits are enforced

  • Hook Hall's large garage-style doors and windows will remain open throughout the market to allow for plenty of air circulation

  • No food/drink can be consumed inside of the market

  • Ground markers for social distancing guide customer queues throughout the market

  • Vendors are stationed 6 ft. apart

  • Controlled entrance/exit

  • Hand sanitizer is available

  • Surfaces with high-touch points are sanitized regularly

  • E-pay or contactless pay is encouraged, when possible

  • Customers should avoid touching or browsing through products they do not intend to purchase.

If you feel sick or think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay at home.
