Nutrition Assistance

Last Updated: March, 2020

At Park View Farmers Market, our goal is to provide a safe and inclusive environment where community members from all backgrounds and income levels can gather, shop, and spend time with one another. We strive to reduce the barriers that many residents face when attempting to access fresh, healthy foods, and are working to accept all federal, state, and local nutritional assistance benefits. As a brand-new market, we are still in the process of obtaining the approval and infrastructure to accept these various benefits, so we appreciate your patience and understanding as we get all the pieces in place.

We plan to accept the following benefits at the Park View Market:

  • SNAP (EBT/Food Stamps)

    • Estimated to begin accepting at market by May 1st

    • Black Rock Orchard is currently accepting WIC CVC

    • Other WIC-eligible vendors will start accepting WIC CVC on June 1st

    • Approved vendors will accept these benefits June 1st – October 31st

  • Produce Plus

    • Approved vendors will accept these benefits June 1st – September 30th

We will be sure to keep these timelines up to date as we move forward. Thank you for your patience and support!
